State Seeking Nominations for the Best Women in Business

(HARRISBURG) - - The Commonwealth is again seeking nominations for the 12th Annual Best 50 Women in Business Awards, according to State Sen. John R. Gordner (R-27). The Department of Community and Economic Development grants the awards in conjunction with Pennsylvania's five business journals.

"Nominees are judged based upon their professional accomplishments, community involvement and advocacy for women," said Senator Gordner. "It is an excellent way to recognize those women in business who have strived to become successful within their fields."

Nomination forms are available on the Department's Internet site at www.newPA.com and must be received at the Department by February 8. The awards will be presented in Harrisburg on May 21.
